Hats For Henley

With just one week left until Henley 2014 we thought we would pick out some of the best hats we have in store for this seasons Royal Regatta. For the stewards' enclosure ladies are required to wear dresses or skirts with a hemline below the knee, it is also customary for the ladies to wear hats. 

As it's a summer event we've chosen these sophisticated straw hats as they give a chic look with a wide brim to shade the face.  

This bright pink straw hat will add a pop of colour to any outfit and features a stripe and feather detailing that resembles two boating oars.

Royal Ascot Hats 2014

Our customer's hats wowed the crowds at this years Royal Ascot Races. Sacha Harris attracted the attention of both Gok Wan & Grazia magazine.   

The blue tone feathery fascinator beautifully complimented her outfit,  with use of a neutral base finished with a jewel detailing. 

We also had this great image sent in of another customer happy with her hat on a sunny day at Ascot 2014.

Wedding Guest Hat Inspiration

With the wedding season in full swing we have put together some of favourite wedding guest hats that we have in store at the moment that would be perfect for that special occasion.

This black round rimmed hat oozes sophistication, made from sinamay it is lightweight and will shade the face from those summer rays. Our recent customer Clementine teamed this bright floral fascinator with the overlaying lace on her dress. She has created a classic chic look that is made contemporary with the flawless use of the daring colour.

Fashion Show Luncheon Event

We had a brilliant time at the fashion show last Sunday, which was all in aid of the Society for the welfare of horses & ponies. 

The outfits featured garments by designers Charles & Patricia Lester, Coco Fennell, JoJo Maman Bebe and Lucy Choi. Models for the event included Miss Monmouthshire, Louise Fletcher and our very own Sophie.

Royal Ascot Millinery 2014

As the prestigious Royal Ascot race days are fast approaching we have put together some of our key pieces perfect for the event.

Summer Fashion Show Luncheon - Sunday June 1st

                                    

We will be taking part in an important fashion event supporting the society for the welfare of horses. The charity takes all money donated to care for helpless horse and ponies that they rescue. One of their latest rescues was P.C Wilkie, shown in the image below, was found abandoned at only 2 weeks old.

The summer fashion show luncheon is in aid of this young pony and will be taking place at Quarry Farm, Skenfrith on Sunday 1st June 2014 at 12.30pm. 

The fashion show will feature some of our colourful creations as well as couture designers Charles & Patricia Lester, Coco Fennell, Jojo Maman Bebe and shoes by Lucy Choi.

Hay Festival 2014

The prestigious Hay Festival begins tomorrow in the small welsh town boasting a variety of events, including talks with Mary Berry, Jennifer Saunders and Judi Dench.

We first visited back into 2001 when Bill Clinton did a talk at the festival. He described it as 'The woodstock of the mind'

Afternoon Tea at the Castle House Hotel

Last week we visited the beautiful Castle House Hotel situated in Hereford for an afternoon tea event in aid of the Little Princess Trust. The charity provides young children suffering with hair loss with real hair wigs.
